DESCRIPTION:Bendigo Community Farmers Market has been operating for more than ten years\, and recently returned to the Bendigo Foodshare Food Hub\, at 227 Breen Street\, Golden Square. Held on the second Saturday of the month\, from 9am until 12.30pm\, the market offers high quality\, freshly harvested produce\, in season\, in a traditional\, market square atmosphere. It also means that you are directly supporting the farmers of the Bendigo region\, and thus contributing to the local community. \nYou can also find our Grow Cook Share Food Hub team at the monthly market\, selling produce grown on Golden Gums Farm – just look out our for Bendigo Foodshare marquee. \nThere is plenty of onsite parking easily accessible from Belle Vue Road. Make sure to bring a hat and a shopping bag\, and we’ll see you there!

DESCRIPTION:The Bendigo Sustainability Festival is back and is ready to inspire\, connect and empower our community towards environmental action.   \nSustainability and Food Relief go hand in hand\, we waste 7.6 million tones of food each year\, 70% of this is perfectly edible\, help us reduce food waste\, protect the environment and save our future.  \nJoin us on Sunday the 29th of March at the Garden for the Future\, Hamelin St\, White Hills\, from 10am-4pm where we will have our own Pop Up Good Food Stall for Bendigo Foodshare\, where there will be fresh produce and fun activities to enjoy and support us in providing food relief.   \nThis year’s festival will bring together local communities\, artists and innovators to explore what it means to create a home\, a place filled with warmth\, memories and a shared hope for the future as we all come together as a community where we can live sustainably.   \nFrom local food\, live music\, and family-friendly activities\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.   \nDo you want to help break a world record?
