Beyond their financial support, Westvic Staffing Solutions has played a hands‑on role in helping Bendigo Foodshare build inclusive workforce opportunities. Working closely with Gillian Sawyer and the Westvic team, Bendigo Foodshare has been able to recruit and support four trainees over recent years, providing meaningful training and employment pathways for young people, while increasing our capacity to deliver our important work.
The partnership extends beyond the workplace. In 2025, the Westvic team rolled up their sleeves and joined Bendigo Foodshare for a corporate cooking session, connecting staff with the impact of food relief while sharing skills, laughter and a deeper understanding of food security challenges across Central Victoria.
