Our team visited Melissa and her team of volunteers from A Reasonable Christianity (ARC) in Golden Square. Since 2023, we have partnered with ARC to provide food relief and meals through their soup kitchen. In the last financial year, we were able to provide 10,900kg of food, which is equivalent to around 21,000 meals!
We loved seeing the strong connections Melissa has built with every person who comes in, and she even manages to maintain relationships with people who are not currently using the food relief service.
Their soup kitchen is open:
Thursdays 5-6pm and Sundays 11.30am-12.30pm
