Have you heard of the book Mutt Dog?
Mutt dog is brave, fast, gentle, loyal and smart, but he’s also hungry, and he doesn’t have a home. The kids at Bendigo Pre-School have been reading Mutt Dog over the past few weeks. The reality is that many people in our community are experiencing the same situation as Mutt Dog.
A couple of weeks ago our Warehouse Coordinator Joe went out to Bendigo Preschool to talk to them about what we do at Bendigo Foodshare and why we do it. He also encouraged them to ask for help if they ever feel the same way as Mutt Dog does.
While Joe was there he gave out some delicious apples from our warehouse and accepted a donation of over 50kg of food that the Emu and Kangaroo groups collected over the past month as part of our Winter Food Drive.
Bendigo Preschool has been participating in our Annual Food Drive for a number of years now and we want to say thank you for yet another impressive Food Drive donation.
