It was a sweet and sticky morning at Bendigo Tafe with Young Parents and Senior VCE VM students developing cake decorating skills through Bendigo Foodshare’s Cooking for Change program. Mille Feuille and cupcakes were produced with feather icing and buttercream piping techniques put to excellent use, demonstrating colourful creativity and flair!

The concept of including sweet treats in a healthy, balanced diet was discussed, as were the many benefits to be gained from such creative activities. Young parents were delighted to learn new ideas for producing homemade party foods for special occasions and simple decorating techniques to delight children of all ages!
