Bendigo Sustainability Festival 2026

The Bendigo Sustainability Festival is back and is ready to inspire, connect and empower our community towards environmental action.

Sustainability and Food Relief go hand in hand, we waste 7.6 million tones of food each year, 70% of this is perfectly edible, help us reduce food waste, protect the environment and save our future.

Join us on Sunday the 29th of March at the Garden for the Future, Hamelin St, White Hills, from 10am-4pm where we will have our own Pop Up Good Food Stall for Bendigo Foodshare, where there will be fresh produce and fun activities to enjoy and support us in providing food relief.

This year’s festival will bring together local communities, artists and innovators to explore what it means to create a home, a place filled with warmth, memories and a shared hope for the future as we all come together as a community where we can live sustainably.

From local food, live music, and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Do you want to help break a world record? Bendigo Sustainability Festival is aiming to break a World Record for the most people hugging trees in one hour!
