The wet summer has led to a bad season for fruit fly in Bendigo and surrounds.
Queensland fruit fly (QFF) has been found in Harcourt, Harcourt North, Castlemaine and Campbells Creek. This problem can be contained if we all work together.
At Bendigo Foodshare, we encourage backyard growers to share their excess fruit and veggies with us. Before donating, please check your fruit carefully to ensure there are no fruit fly.
