We are honoured to have been named as a beneficiary in the Will of the late Catherine Mary Polinelli. After Catherine’s passing we met with her daughter to explain about our work, how we are funded and how her mother’s donation will be used to make a difference.
Catherine, remembered by her family and friends as a fierce competitor on the bowling green, also deeply valued giving back. Her generous bequest of $20,000 will help us to continue to provide food relief to people doing it tough in our community.
We’re honoured by this meaningful gesture and touched by the trust placed in our mission. Catherine’s legacy will live on in every meal shared and every life nourished.
