Calling all backyard, kinder, school, community gardeners and farmers: our popular Grow A Row: Potato Drive is back for 2023!
We’ve got 80kg of certified seed potato seeds thanks to Bush’s Produce to share with you to grow.
How does our Grow a Row: Potato Drive work? It’s simple –
1/ Collect a bag or two of potatoes from Bush’s Produce Store OR if you’re one of our registered food partners, look out for them on next week’s order form.
2/ Register your participation with us on the form you’ll receive with your potatoes.
3/ Have a go at growing – it’s all about having fun and learning! We’d love to see photos of your planting and progress along the way!
4/ If you have success with your harvest, we’d love you to share some with us or your local community – let’s all help to put healthy food on the plates of those doing it tough across our community.
This is our 5th year of our Potato Drive, and over this time we’ve had an incredible 80 schools, kinders, backyard and farm gardeners across central Victoria grow and share over 350kg of potatoes to help us with our food relief efforts. Amazing! 🥔💚
