Shoutout to Simplot for their continued support!
Their donations are never small! Last month they donated 3600kg of meal base sauces and this week they donated 370kg of tomato paste products. These products have been greatly received by local areas including Rochester and Echuca, who nearly a year on are still feeling effects from the floods. They have also been supplied to other rural areas seeing an increased demand for food and resources because of inflationary pressures.
Last week, two of our volunteers Kevin and Charlie took our Warehouse Operations Manager Kaye with them to pick up a donation from the Simplot warehouse in Echuca. While they were there they met Karen Cook, the logistics manager to talk about the demand for food and facilitating local use of donated food.
